About the role

This is a great opportunity to join our Search Team where you will be responsible for implementing & influencing paid search strategies across multiple online platforms. Key responsibilities include:

  • Devise insights, provide recommendations and implement strategies that meet the business requirements for PPC media (Google, & Bing platforms)
  • Maintain a ‘test and learn’ culture, constantly seeking opportunities to improve performance, drive efficiency gains and improve prospect and customer experience through creatives, personalization, beta opportunities & automation.
  • Execution of seasonal, high impact, high volume Search campaigns
  • Work to spend, acquisition and ROI targets
  • Devise new data solutions that allow us to understand customers better and increase the team’s efficiency
  • Develop budgets & ongoing forecasts in response to opportunities or threats
  • Extract insights from existing and new data sources
  • Support the SEM Manager in developing new data source governance solutions
  • Revise reporting needs and improve data visualizations
  • Support the SEM Manager in building and presenting project business cases
  • Escalate data issues impacting reporting & where necessary, collaborate with Data teams to implement and test any fixes
  • Support initiatives related to martech, measurement & data capability uplift
  • Deliver regular performance reports, prepare ad-hoc performance and initiative materials for presentation to Media Teams or key stakeholders across the business

About You

We’re looking for enthusiastic, proactive people who are keen to share and further their knowledge. This role would suit those who are highly skilled with a great attention to detail able to multitask while working calmly and efficiently under pressure.

  • Minimum 12 months SEM experience with demonstrable track record of achieving performance targets.
  • Advanced, hands on knowledge of Google Ads (AKA Adwords) is essential
  • A/B testing, Multivariate testing and experience of testing & experimentation methodologies.
  • Advanced level Excel required, experience in the development of Power BI (or Tableau) dashboards and reports.
  • Strong analytical skills are a must, with considerable experience analyzing digital marketing campaigns for performance optimization.
  • Minimum intermediate level of SQL skills required; experience using Python advantageous.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential with demonstrable ability to clearly articulate SEM & performance intricacies in an engaging and compelling manner which informs and influences.
